Consultation

Browse the stationery designs, either online or visit the studio. Whether you find a perfect design in the studio collection or are inspired to have a couture design custom created, a consultation will then determine your stationery requirements, from design choice to accompanying stationery items. Consultations can be done via email, phone or a studio appointment.

Design Proposal and Quote

Based on the initial consultation, you will receive a design proposal and an obligation free quote. The quote will list prices on a per item basis, you simply calculate the quantities you require. The quote takes into account the cost of papers, envelopes, printing, assembly supplies, any embellishments you have chosen and the hand assembly of every item in your stationery suite. Inkdrift will work with you to achieve a design you are completely satisfied with, so please discuss any changes or ideas you have to the design concept.

Deposit

In order to proceed with the production of your design, a 50% deposit is required. Your deposit confirms your order and acknowledges acceptance of the design proposal and quote. This deposit must be received before any further work will continue on your order.

Guest List

A guest list template is available to download, or email a request to have it forwarded to you. Guest information is not required at this stage, but it is a good idea to start collecting this information as soon as possible. It can become quite time consuming and if not ready by the required time, can delay the production of your stationery.

Required Information

After confirming your order and receipt of your deposit, Inkdrift will ask you to provide all relevant event information, wording and typestyle choice for the preparation of proofs.

Proofs

You will receive a proof for each item to be produced. It is important to thoroughly proof read every proof. Check everything, including dates, times, names, addresses, spelling, wording, layout, typestyle, etc. It is your responsibility to notify Inkdrift of any errors or changes you require. An amended proof will be be prepared and forwarded. When you are completely satisfied with your proofs, sign and return to Inkdrift. On receipt of signed approval, printing and production will commence on your stationery. Inkdrift is not responsible for any errors occuring in finished products if the error is present on the approved proof.

Guest Information

No need for handwriting. Your guest information can be printed on invitations, envelopes and place cards in the same typestyle used throughout your stationery suite. If you are having your stationery personalised, this information is required to be finalised and emailed to Inkdrift in conjunction with the final proof approval. Guest information must be received error free, as Inkdrift does not proof read your guest information and it will be printed on your stationery exactly as it appears in the list you supply.

Production Time

Depending on the degree of complexity for your design and quantities required, production time can vary. As a guide approximately 4 weeks is required for production. Production can only commence once all required information from you has been received by Inkdrift.
